Connecting Sivella to Claude

Sivella supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), which lets you connect your household directly to Claude — so you can ask about tasks, budget, and decisions, or make changes, right from a Claude conversation.

The connection starts from Claude, not from Sivella — there's no "Connect to Claude" button inside the app. In Claude, add a custom connector using https://mcp.sivella.ai/mcp, then approve the connection when Sivella asks. You'll need to be logged in to Sivella to approve it, and you need to be a member of a household. Every plan can connect, including Free.

On the Free plan the connection is read-only and covers your tasks and who's in your household: Claude can list your tasks, look one up, search for one, and see your household members, up to 200 requests a month. That's enough to ask "what do I need to do today?" and get a real answer out of your own household.

Helping Hand and Right Hand open the rest of it — the calendar and everyone's free time, the budget and ledger, the kitchen and shopping list, decisions and open items, household energy, and everything Sivella remembers. Paid plans also let Claude make changes rather than only read, and lift the monthly request limit.

When you approve the connection, Sivella shows you exactly what you're granting, and it matches what your plan actually allows — a Free household is asked only for read access. Anything Claude proposes that needs confirmation shows up the same way in Sivella's own interface, so you can review and approve it from either place.
