Deleting your account

Open My profile in Sivella and choose Request account deletion. You'll be asked whether to delete just your account or your household along with it, and to type DELETE to confirm. Deleting the household is available to its owner and admins; everyone else can delete their own account.

Your account is then deactivated 24 hours later. Nothing is removed during that window and your account keeps working, so a request made by mistake — or by someone else at an unlocked screen — costs nothing. Cancel it from the same place in My profile any time before the 24 hours are up.

Once the deletion runs you're signed out everywhere, and you'll receive an email confirming your account has been deleted. That confirmation is sent within 30 days and in practice the next day. Your data then enters a 120-day recovery window — if the deletion was a mistake, contact us during that window and we can restore your account. After 120 days, your personal and identifying information is irreversibly anonymized and can't be recovered.

You can also email [email protected] instead and we'll handle it by hand within 30 days. If you'd like a copy of your data before deleting your account, ask for a data export the same way and we'll send it within 30 days.

• Your account is deactivated 24 hours later, and stays cancellable from My profile until then.

• If you are the only member of your household, deleting your account deletes the household with it.
• What is retained during the 120 days: everything, so the deletion can be undone. After it: your household's content stays in de-identified form, detached from you, and is never used to train any AI model. We keep nothing longer than that except where the law requires it.
• The underlying data is kept for 120 days in case the deletion was a mistake, then irreversibly anonymized.
• Prefer email? [email protected] — handled by hand within 30 days.
• Want your data first? Ask for an export in the same email — also handled within 30 days.
