How to join a Sivella household with an invite link

To join a Sivella household, open the household's invite link and sign in to Sivella. The link fills in the one-time household code for you. Complete the connection, choose how the shared dashboard should feel, and begin with the household context already there rather than creating a separate system.

To join a Sivella household, open the household's invite link and sign in to Sivella. The link fills in the one-time household code for you. Complete the connection, choose how the shared dashboard should feel, and begin with the household context already there rather than creating a separate system.

The distinction matters. A household in Sivella is the shared context that its members use for tasks, availability, budget, decisions, and the rest of the work they coordinate. Joining the existing household puts everyone in that same context. Starting another one would leave each person looking at a different record.

What should you have before joining a Sivella household?

Ask an existing member for the household invite link. Sivella uses a single link to invite members, so there is no need for a separate invitation for each part of the household system. The same setup can also be completed with a one-time household code.

Use the link while you can sign in to the Sivella account you intend to keep using. An invite link fills the household code in for you; if you received the code by itself, enter it during the option to join an existing household. Both routes lead to the same shared household.

Before continuing, check the simple thing that prevents the most confusion: you are joining, not creating. Creating is for starting a new household context. Joining is for becoming a member of one that already exists.

How does the Sivella invite link work?

Open the invite link. It carries the one-time code into the joining flow, removing the need to copy it from one message into another screen. Sign in and complete the connection to the existing household.

The code belongs to the joining route. Do not replace that route by creating another household. A second household would be a separate context rather than the shared one the invitation is meant to open.

Once the connection is complete, use the shared household rather than rebuilding its active work in your own words. Existing tasks keep their owners, decisions keep their options and constraints, and household memory remains inspectable and editable by the household. The useful first step is to understand what is already there.

What will you choose during Sivella setup?

Sivella's setup has four steps overall: create or join a household, pick a personality, invite members, and choose what to set up first. When you are following an invitation, the first decision is already clear: join the household that invited you.

Serenity is preselected during setup and can be changed later in Settings. Serenity and Focus are available now. A personality changes the tone, color, and density of the whole dashboard without changing stored household data, so this choice does not need to delay joining.

Inviting additional members can also be skipped and handled later. If everyone who needs access is already present, move on. If someone is missing, the household can share one invite link with them when the time is right.

What should you check after you join?

Start with the Today plan. It gives one view of what needs attention and the next step, which is a calmer way to learn the household than opening every surface at once. Look for one current item you recognize and confirm that its owner and next action make sense.

Then check the boundaries of what is shared. Calendar sync contributes free-or-busy availability and never exposes event details. For an energy check-in, the household sees the level and date while a personal note stays private. Shared context is meant to make coordination possible, not to turn every personal detail into household information.

Finally, correct rather than duplicate. If a remembered fact is stale, household memory can be inspected and edited. If a task is vague, clarify its next step. Joining is complete when you can see the same operational picture as the other members and act from it without asking one person to reconstruct the whole household for you.
